WebFeb 1, 2014 · About a month ago I aquired a SIG models 1/4 scale J-3 Cub kit from a friend who bought it this summer. It is a balsa build kit so it is basically a box full of balsa sticks and some thin ply and plans. It will be a scale detailed build. I plan on running a DLE 35RA for the engine. Wing span is about 105 inches so it is a big plane.

I have a 1/4 scale Sopwith Pup waiting for a slot on the board but the quality of the Sig kit is amazing, not just the sheer quantity of wood but the quality and the razor sharp laser cutting.
