WebApr 26, 2024 · The problem I have with the above photo is purlins and purlin bracing typically match the size of the rafter. The bracing is smaller which is ok if it is a 2x4. Also, the bracing (strut) does not appear to be attached to the purlin but rather directly attached to the rafter which is odd.
