WebAug 7, 2008 · According to TheMacBox, PhoneSaber was pulled because THQ Wireless owns the rights to develop Star Wars-themes applications for mobile devices, which includes the iPhone and iPod touch. PhoneSaber isn’t, however, dead and gone since the two companies are figuring out how to work together. PhoneSaber has finally returned to Apple's App Store, but now has a new name: Lightsaber Unleashed. The virtual Lightsaber application for the iPhone and iPod touch has the Lucasfilm seal of approval. The new version includes Lightsabers from The Force Unleashed game, new sound effects, and background music, too.
