WebI have GPU-Z open next to a game and in some (CSGO, GMOD) the perfcap is shown as idle. This means that for some reason the nvidia drivers think my card isn't being used and capping its performance as a result, I'm pretty sure. I've already looked into fixes for those specific games and they don't seem to help. WebFeb 24, 2024 · The GPU clock lowers down i open GPU-Z and it says PerfCap Reason - Idle even if i restart the game or go fullscreen it wont remove the perfcap i have found a quick way to fix it by downloading Custom Resolution Utility (CRU) and restarting the GPU driver from there and then gpu goes back to normal clocks but i have to restart the game.
