When my boys are poorly I try to space out the doses so as to give the most coverage. So for instance if you were giving Calpol 4 hourly, I would give Nurofen 2 hours after the Calpol. If his temp get really high you can give both together (ds1 has had two throat infections so we are dab hands at this now!)
